- 仏映画「夜の門」で、シャンソン歌手のイヴ・モンタンが歌ったのが最初とか。
- ジャズで料理しやすいし、自由度もあるらしく、古くからジャズでも採り上げられてきています。中でも、「Portrait in Jazz/ Bill Evans」、「Somethin' Else/ Cannonball Adderley」などが名演とされてきましたが、今ではそれ以外のものにも良いのがドッチャリあります。

２管クインテット。アダレィ名義ですが、実質マイルスがリーダーの演奏です。ピアノもベースも素晴らしく、この曲の名演の白眉です。
