オランダに「Sesjun」というライブ音源のライブラリーがあるそうで、例のLeft Bank Societyと似たもののようです。その音源が世に出るようになってきているようで、ここではEddie Gomez期と、Marc Johnson期の音源が納められています。その後者では、あのToots Thielmansが加わっているのがオランダらしい所であり、またその前年に名盤となった「アフィニティー」盤を一緒に録音していることもあり、ファンへの嬉しい贈り物となっています。内容は多言無用な上質な物であり、こういう本線ジャズを毎晩演奏していた人がいたという奇跡に頭が下がります。
