• 渋いテナーなため評判は高くないけど、個人的には非常に好きな人。ミンガスとの付き合いもあり、一風変った音取りの曲を作るが、これが好きなんだなぁ。ブッカー・アーヴィン等と同様の重厚さがありながらも、もっとフットワークが良い。上記「In the World」は幻の名盤の一つ。
