| Charles LloydがMichel Petruccianiに刺激を受けて再出発した直後、真夏のMontreauxジャズ祭において公演した時のライヴ盤。自作曲とエヴァンスの曲からなる演目で、やはり気になる、Forest Flower: Sunrise/Sunsetを新境地ではどう演奏するのか、という大方の下世話な期待にもしっかり答えている。お主、商売人やなぁ。取りあえずは、昔の彼は健在である、ということを示した形であり、その後更に変貌を遂げるのだが、それは例えばCharles Lloyd--今日このごろを御覧じろ。 |
