Hod O'Brienが、先輩のBarry Harrisを長年敬愛していたようです。それを愛妻のStephanie Nakasianが承知していて、本人には内緒で共演を頼み込んで何とか承諾を取り付けてから、本人を喜ばせたと言う内助の功を絵に描いたような事情があって実現した、2枚ピアノのトリオ盤です。バップの大元の曲を二人で弾くのは、流石に壮観です。左右に分かれて収録されていて、まぁ、比較する気が無くとも比べてしまいます。
