Roland Kirkがやっと評価されるようになり、欧州遠征をロンドンのロニースコットで大成功させ、次にコペンハーゲンでテテ等とやったこの盤は、確か、日本にこの人が紹介される端緒となった筈です。記憶でも、これをレコード屋で買って帰って、「成る程、凄いワ、、、」と感嘆した憶えがあります。特に5の「CABIN IN THE SKY」がお気に入りでした。聞く途中で、「ホントに、管楽器は一人なの」と、ジャケットを何度もひっくり返しましたねぇ。無論、その時は盤は一枚だったわけで、2枚分の録音を倉庫で見つけ出したのは、ボックスマンこと、小山さんでした。
