「これはひどい。」　アナログは美しい小鳥のジャケット（下）で、中古オリジナルでも数万円で手に入ります。それもあって何年もかけて、再発盤を入手したのに、「このジャケットは何だ、VSOPの復刻の方針を疑う。」と憤慨した。しかし盤を改めて聴いてみると、それも含んだ3つのアルバムからの抜粋盤ということらしい。それでも、やはり１から４の小鳥セッションが一番出来が良い、というのはヒガ目でしょうか。先輩に聞かせてもらって、耳に残った「4 Alone together」などが、Nelsonの名曲行脚の引金となりました。
