「英国貴族のようで、親しみがもてない」ということになっていますが、この盤などはそんなことを感じさせないスウィング振りで、惹き込まれます。「1 From This Moment on」、「5 You and the Night and the Music」、「7 Lullaby of the Leaves」と小気味良い演奏が続きますし、定評どおりにこのレーベルは録音が良いことが判るメリハリの良さが嬉しい。
