| 6重奏団になってからの録音。4 MILESのリズムが新鮮だったし、6 STRAIGHT NO CHASERのうねるような感じも印象的だった。新規加入のAdderleyが、確立された5重奏団の流れに変化をもたらし、新鮮である。5 BILLY BOYのピアノトリオも、自己名義のものと違うと感じるのは何故か。Basie bandのそれのお株を奪って、All American rythm sectionと称されるだけのことは十分にある。 |
