Eddie Harrisには、Atlanticに良い盤が一杯ありますが、その中でもこれは秀逸です。「The Shadow of Your Smile」がくつろぎジャズかと思えば、名演の「Freedom Jazz Dance」なんかは最初に聴いた時から、その奇妙な味に参っています。後半は、オルガン入りのファンクっぽさがなかなか良いです。
