| この人がBethlehemに入れた初期の名唱のコンピ。アナログ時代からの愛聴盤で、今無き「真っ赤なエヴァークリーン盤」です。「Sings Lullabys of Birdland」盤とかなりダブルんですが、矢張り入れて置きます。当時、ヴォーカルを語らせれば余人を以って代え難かった巨泉さんの解説付きの盤です。「1 From This Moment on」、「2 Spring Is here」、「4 Trouble Is a Man」、「5 Lullaby of Birdland」、「6 Blame It on My Youth」と畳み掛けるように良い歌唱が続いて、その美声にはまり込んでいると、更に「13 Stella by Starlight」、「14 All about Ronnie」、「15 It's All Right with Me」で唸ってしまいます。 |
