CLIFFORD BROWNとMAX ROACHのコンビが、Gene Normanの興業で行ったCONCERTのライヴ盤。これを聞く前に、ジョードゥをマーキュリー盤で聞いて感激していた後に、名盤と言われたこれを入手した。そして、冒頭曲を再度聞いて、感服のあまり声が出なかった。演奏時間も長いのに、だれるどころか火を噴く勢いで、しかも完璧と言えるアドリブ展開には、たまげるしかない。正に神の寵愛を受けた天才の存在、を信じた。
