Bill Evans盤の中では、それほど話題になる盤ではありませんが、何故か個人的には好きな盤です。曲も良いし、録音が良いせいか、演奏の歯切れが良くって、愛聴しています。冒頭の「1 One for Helen」が良いし、「5 Very Early」や、標題曲の「8 Blue in Green」も好きなトラックです。ジャケットは、朋友のTony Bennettによるスケッチです。
